I happened to be on twitter while this was all going down–most fun I’ve had in a while (guiltily, that includes concerts). Just so happy for David that he got this opportunity–not many do! Make sure you have preserved both videos–they show two different rolls: a long slow barrel roll and a really scary looking roll that I don’t know the name for, but was around the long axis of the plane.
So glad my fave site has #TeamThunderbirdsHair humour! I would have been sad if you’d missed this great opportunity. Enchiladas, lol! Nearly every passenger in a fighter gets sick, can’t say for sure that David did but … nah, I won’t guess. He’s tough.
Um, can that “Top Gun” pose be the cover of David’s next album? Because gorgeous. In that pic you can see some of the gear David would have had to learn to operate, including (gulp) parachute and leg compressors that helped him not pass out.
