David Archuleta at Songs for Tomorrow benefit concert

David Archuleta blew the roof off the Songs for Tomorrow benefit concert last night in Los Angeles, in honour of Aaron Carter.

The event was cohosted by Lance Bass and Aaron’s twin sister, Angel Conrad. Other performers included members of the Backstreet Boys, N’Sync, LFO, O-Town, and 98 Degrees, with 100% of the proceeds are being donated to On Our Sleeves: The Movement for Children’s Mental Health. What a great cause, check them out and donate if you haven’t already.

Please excuse my cheesy videos of my laptop screen but hey, cheesy is how I roll, hahaha.

Can I Be That for You (man, I love that songggg!!!!)

A Thousand Miles (I have missed this sooooo much!!!)

Angels (gahhhhhh!!!)

But Just Breathe was Out. Of. This. World.

Group number for Imagine!

This was so awesome and such a worthwhile cause! I did not expect David to sing that many songs, tbh. How incredible was he??!!! Really, please share! 🙂

Huge Standing O for this GLAAD nomination!!!

If you missed the interview, here it is in two parts:

When I think about how scared David was to admit to himself who he was and how well things are working out – with the best to come, no doubt – I’m just so thankful he’s here and doing great things.

I watched the benefit concert on-line and it was great, such a worthy cause and may I add…David was amazing and beautiful! His songs were so good, each of them were wonderful and yes I absolutely agree…”Just Breathe” was out of this world, absolutely gorgeous and powerful. It was all so moving and kudos to all who participated. David really shared his awesome gift and I thought the songs he chose to sing were great choices.
Thanks for putting this all together so nicely. Congrats to David and Jennifer on the GLAAD nomination. Much deserved and that was such a touching interview.
Well done on all counts David. ❤️
