What an awesome interview! I laughed, I cried! The whole David Enchilada!!
David is such a pro! A natural rambler and someone who doesn’t talk in “sound bites” and yet he is keenly aware of the time restraints of TV and can distill his deep thoughts and experiences into the time allowed. Blown away… again!!
I loved how Jennifer let him talk & really listened to what he was saying. Also loved the audience response, great crowd!
I was hoping he’d sing Faith in Me, but it was awesome the way they showed multiple clips from the video… and I may have made actual heart hands at the screen when he talked about the song being about being free to fall in love with whoever you love. *sobs*
And he just looks so great on my teeveeeeee!!! The camera loves him… he needs to have his own show someday where he can just have on his favourite peeps, get chefs to teach him how to cook, and, of course, SINGGG!!!

Yes, caught the show too and loved it. Jennifer was great with David and he really was so good. Always so impressed with David….his natural, sincere nature, his courage to share, his ability to always move you and to always make you smile. I was hoping they would have him sing but…maybe another time! I agree, he needs to have his own show, he’s so natural and yes…he is such a pro!
I thought it was great, so sure of himself. Wish they had time to sing together!
Loved it!!! 😍 He seems so much lighter, so comfortable in his own skin. Loved his thoughts on marriage between two people. So wise.
The Same-Sex Marriage Law went before the US Senate today and the Mormon church is backing it and also maintains same-sex relationships are sinful. So head scratching.
David described succinctly the conflicted message from the Church. He’s become so comfortable talking and answering questions. I love how he looks to the audience at times.
Also loved JHuds love for him!!! He told her she gave him a Master Class on singing and he downloaded all her performances. He credited her with his approach to singing “Imagine” when on Idol. Hers is more soulful but definitely a few steps away from John Lennon’s performance.

The Church of Jesus Christ of the Latter Day Saints (whew, mouthful) has come out as supportive of the bill circulating in the US Congress which would ensure all states accept as legitimate marriages which could not be performed in that state.
I wonder if David’s dialog with his church and subsequently stepping back had anything to do with the LDS position.

Thanks to all the courageous Ninja fans who post last night’s concert videos.
I did notice on a few of the videos David’s voice sounded a tad weak. I hope singing in the cold outside weather doesn’t take a toll on his voice, as the tour begins.
I didn’t see David on JHud, but I did catch him on Nightline. I thought he came off as mature and thoughtful, a real change for anyone who hadn’t seen him since AI. I hope it gets him a few new fans!
