This weekend begins the first long weekend of the summer, with Monday being Victoria Day.
Generally, we celebrate here by wearing tiaras and walking around speaking in a fake British accent but this year, I thought I’d do a special tribute to Queen Vic herself.
She was quite a woman, marrying for love (astounding for royalty of her time), having nine children and reigning as Queen for 63 years. Fun fact: She loved music and I have a feeling she’d be a huge David Archuleta fan.
I imagine her fangirling would have gone something like this….
Starting from an early age….
Followed by the teen years….
Nothing brings me dooooown, when you’re arouuuund…..
Getting carried away at shows…..
A little too not over it….
Have a great weekend, guys!
(Sadly, I will be travelling and will miss all the news from tomorrow night’s Chapman event *SOBS*… but anyone who leaves me some highlights in the comments will get a big hug from me, along with some freshly baked Beaver Tails!!!)
NANDITO AKO REUNION!!!! woooot!!!! (maybe she can give D. some Josh Bradley hair fluffing 🙂 )
Hadn’t seen this pic before … hmm, a camera… where is this interview??

It will start now till Saturday at 12 PM MST 🙂 comment away! The other day, I was thinking about how people call themselves "mistakes" or "failures", and it makes me really sad to think about what they've been through to make themselves believe that. Of course, it's hard not to think that at times when we've messed up. It's a natural thing to think about, but it's sad to me that it IS a natural thing to think about. Everything that God creates is beautiful, right? So why do we make ourselves the exception? He made us with love. And that love is everlasting. It will never stop. God never leaves us, and he never has. How beautiful is it that someone can look at us with endearing eyes despite what others/we think about ourselves? It's a challenge when we're constantly comparing ourselves to the people all around us. We wish we're one way, but we just aren't. And how wonderful is that? We're all unique. We exist to balance each other out. We need each other to figure life out. We go through trials to help us become stronger. Our weaknesses are there to humble us. You are not your mistakes. Do not make yourself believe that you are. You are wonderful and a child of God. Knowing that has helped me through SO much. He can take away any pain, any heartbreak, and any sorrow we've felt. I love my savior, Jesus Christ. Not only did He live for us, but He died for us. He did it because He thought we were worth it.
