Well this is a sweet song and video (David’s videos are always great) and yes….an insomniac lullaby of sorts! D can sing anything from Opera to a modern ‘insomniac lullaby’. Gotta love the Archie Merch ideas. 🙂

I love love the lyrics of this song, so darn clever. Admit when I first heard it I felt it needed a bit more angst, emotion, (though I do think he ended up with the exact “style” he was shooting for, imho.)
However, this video is perfect for this song, and makes me love the song more! Both are understated, but effective! The “wardrobe”, rumpled hair, 5 o’clock shadow, yes the lighting, melatonin, the cereal, brick wall, the refrigerator shot from inside, Even the darn color of the quilt, shoving the pillow off the side of the bed. Love it all!
And the subject not bad either😊
