How is everyone liking the pic Team Archie’s using to promote the new shows?
I know it’s not new but it feels like the new David.
The “I’m so mature my brow is furrowing just thinking about it” David.
The watch-wearing guy so focused on it getting late that he sings about it twice, David.
The “man, this flu shot hurts but I’ve got to get to VIP” David.
The “let me show off my man hands” David.
All looking over his shoulder, “You talkin’ to ME??” David.
So April 21st we get the new single plus (hopefully) some kind of video clips from his Alaska TOFW appearance.
Now let’s take a poll, shall we?
There’s been lots of speculation about the lyrics in the Up All Night snippet (HERE). This is what I hear:

Haha, “bloated, I see” LOL. “Loverly” is rather nice! Heck, I seem to be one of those people who just can’t hear the word “very”. To me it still sounds like “you’ll marry”. Probably wrong but no matter how many times I listen to the snippet, I can’t get “marry” out of my head. Could be my ears!
Or maybe “but tonight you’ll marry cause you’re tight with Steve” Haha.

According to the news release, we’re getting mature music from David. I am inclined to vote for “close to me,” but there is a good chance he might be singing “ill at ease.”
