We like the way he’s Movin’… cubed!

Fans asked and Mr. David Archuleta answered! With three ways to get Movin’!!

What’s your fave? OG YouTube, After Hours Insta or Movin’ FB?

I’m leaning toward the YouTube original (‘cuz I listen to both versions and love them both) but there’s something so West Side Story about the FB version choreography that I love! lolol

After Hours Insta

Movin’ FB

OG YouTube

So what do you guys think?? Can you pick a fave? Have you ordered a matching chain yet?

p.s.

A little too not over this choreo at the end of the FB version *flames emoji*

    Wow…I’m so confused!
Lol…I admit…I’m not caught up yet. I just saw what I thought said “OG” on FB. I actually thought that was it. And I see in your post…”OG” was supposed to be on YT? Ahhh…it’s all getting overwhelming. Not DA, mind you. Social options! Anyhoo…whichEVER one I saw was cute with the flirty, flirty goin’ on with the cute girl in pink. And the moves. Cute.

“that’s on me” as D. would say, haha… there’s the OG video (which is both versions in one), then the OG Movin’… and all of it’s so amazing, of course our collective heads are spinning (now THERE’s an image lolol)

    I posted. It disappeared…if I don’t see it show up later, I’ll repost…this is a test…

k, I’m caught up. I love the musical groove of OG Movin’ version, just as I did before…and cute, light-hearted, fun video to match it. But I also love the after hours video’s sultry vibe. I’m feeling…given all the stuff going on in his brain right now…the two versions reflect more than just a choice of musical vibes of both. David usually is subtle in his reflections and expression of where he’s at personally…artistic. Never too literal or obvious…except…when he decides to be. lol. Anyhoo…it’s how it all struck me. Bottom line…love his movin’ and groovin’ in all the versions. 🕺❤️🎶

Great interview… love what he says about Imagine! 😍

Yep, gotta go with the FB, love it! Love it!
So happy he is stepping out there and letting go of some of his inhibitions –
    and we are the benefactors!

    Oops that was me!

Another great interview! Love how David opens up and becomes even more articulate with each interview!

This is an incredible interview and a must listen as David continues to answer new and deeper questions and reveal a bit more of what he’s been through the last few years. Right off there was a rapport with Joseph having discovered their similar journeys coming with a religious background and living in Tennessee. It’s always good to see David relaxed. The comment about Joseph’s journal writing left David and me loling. He’s come so far since the GMA/Nighline interview.

Yes Janey, I think the best one yet. Absolutely loved this interview!
He’s always had a knack for getting to the heart of things, just now he can
        articulate it so well.

Joseph, great listener, didn’t rush through things just to get all his questions in.

Watching the Star Search I have to say I do sometimes yearn for R&B David. It
just shows off his amazing vocals, those runs! Maybe someday we will get a bit more of that.

        • TOfan says:

A big yes to R&B David!! As he gets more and more comfortable in his own skin, really hope we see even more of that soulful side!

          • Janey H. says:

The R&B/Latin vibe can’t be beat. Who better than the half-Honduran soul-man from Utah to bring it home? I honestly think this is his genre to conquer.

On the original “which version” question: David couldn’t decide and I can’t either. So the very first thing we got with the mash-up, maybe?

Great interview. She’s interviewed him before and she’s always good with him.
I too appreciated his talking more about Imagine and his choice of verse. Back in the day I felt he was always guarded when answering (and the obvious elephant in the room was the way interviewers were really just trying to dig as to why he wouldn’t do the verse about “religion.”) David would always say he “sang his favorite verse”, and I always felt that was a safe, diplomatic response to a “goading” question. This explanation made wise sense for a young guy, whether he figured that out himself or was advised.
David’s often said he wasn’t quite sure why people reacted as they did to he Imagine.
For me, I always said it was like a one-two punch…Shop Around, David came out swinging, wowing me with his vocals, and his adorable, shy, humble and old soul self. Then just when I thought I had an impression of who he was…he comes back the very next week, adding a deeper level. He showed a completely different side to his musical soul and his innate musicality in how he knew how to choose songs as an interesting and yet so young artist.
Knocked me out. Still knocking me out.

Acoustic Movin …. Oh yeah, amazing, awesome!

  13. TOfan says:

ANOTHER amazing interview! (Thx Janey for the heads up!)

I hope David finds it sort of therapeutic to talk through his journey in these interviews… he seems even more open and clear in his thoughts with each one. 🥰
