How awesome was David Archuleta’s virtual StageIt show last night??!!!! There’s nothing like D’Arch live… even when he’s in his living room and you’re in yours, lol.
I did have some technical difficulties however. Not with my tech but my brain. I kind of squinted through the whole thing then realized I hadn’t switched to my distance glasses. #archubrain in full effect.
He did SOOOO many of my faves!!! Paralyzed! Patient!! (I may have screamed when he read my “it’s my jaaammmmm” comment… okay, full disclosure, I did scream, windows may have rattled)… ELEVATOR!!!!!!! Def. screamed at that one!
And I’m sure I’m not the only one who turned on their phone flashlight and waved it through tears during Glorious. Right? RIGHT??!!
And he blew us all a kiss at the end… what??!!!
PLUS, sooooo great that he did an encore and answered a couple of questions.
I have always wondered what his favourite colour is!! 😉
Seriously though, what a thoughtful and helpful answer about depression… “be compassionate to yourself”… I love that and will remember that. And am very happy David’s going to do that for himself, too. Because he deserves all the happiness and love and I so wish he could’ve heard us all screaming and cheering. Hopefully he felt that through the tsunami wave of comments rolling across the feed!
It was so cool to see so many concert buddies in the chat, and fans from around the globe.

Sidenote: I had planned to watch the show on my computer, which has a huge screen, but my hubs kept insisting on hooking up my laptop to our TV using a cable… I told him I didn’t mind watching on the computer but then I clicked in when he sat with me and was glued to the whole show, hahaha. Turns out, he wanted to watch it too, “but I’ll probably go get some things done” and then he never left the room. lololol *busted* 🙂 🙂 🙂

You summed it up TOfan in a great way! That was a wonderful, fabulous virtual concert, so much fun and almost like being there in person. Yes, I hope David felt, through all the never ending comments how much his fans were loving it…and yes, he does deserve all the happiness, always affirming that for him. I truly hope he does more virtual shows and would just love a Christmas show, if that could be done later.
Oh and how sweet for the people at the VIP (Zoom) event afterwards, nice.

After having had a nightmare early in the week that I’d missed David’s show–I almost did miss it! I legit thought the day was Thursday. ‘Twas only some timely tweets that saved me. I missed Paralyzed, though. How did his performance compare to the Paralyzed version he did on his latest tour?
It really was a treat to be watching with all my OG buddies. It made me happy, too, to support him and his team with a paid concert. I’m really hoping that he’ll do a Christmas version–or two–but you know we’ll sell out as many as he can do. Monthly?

Late to this party…long story long…I had tech difficulties, and missed it. :(. I was IN, even in the chat room…then my older iPad just wouldn’t stream it, my email locked up, couldn’t send the link to my phone…it just went on….. (got new iPad the next day!…had been looking but long lead-times everywhere, finally found one Apple store an hour away the day after the show.)
Long story short…2020 has been one of loss & changes etc (not looking for sympathy, just stating the facts)…that I actually was able to just shrug and say, oh well. BUT, that said…of course I was sorry to have missed it…it seemed wonderfullll from the clips I’m happy to have seen. And now that I see your last post there Deb…I’ll go to YT..which I just hadn’t done yet…#offmygame2020sometimes. So glad some fans captured some clips! So glad he had a good showing and is wanting to do another. I live for that snippet of You Worry…totally STILL one of my TS FAVS! How cute did he look. 🙂 I wish I’d seen that kiss. Sweet.

Update: Yaaaayyy for Didi who posted on YT…tkutkutku. Of course, buy tix y’all to these things, (I know I don’t have to say that here, just speaking that out to the world at large), but grateful someone captured it for us to rewatch, and in my case watch. So…OH… just EVERYthing, about it…all the new songs LIVE, new runs on old tunes, certain words he twisted, I loved! Elevator…complete with the pantomimes. 😃 And SBL! 🥰 That had me jumping around the living room…and the words meant something new for me in 2020…”when the world falls down like rain, it’ll bring you to your knees…Something ‘bout ❤️🎶❤️🎶!” And last but not least….was so glad to see a sneak peek of TS live. I see us…all doing this, 🙏, in the near future…LIVE TS! “OG” Reunions everywhere! Gonna be somethin’ else..🙃🎶
