Congrats to the lovely and amazing Kristin for winning the contest and sending in that great question about trust… wow, talk about deep thoughts! Love what David said about finding those people with “light” who will listen without judgment or trying to control you. GREAT advice!!!

Remember TOfan, you asked (btw, David isn’t the only one who can give ramblin’ answers, lol), so here goes.

First, Josh made the interview extra special by contacting Fred Bronson knowing David’s admiration for Billboard and Fred personally. Great job on Josh doing his homework! Next, the fan question chosen showed a tremendous amount of thought by Kristin and Josh in that it played right into the Therapy Sessions theme while offering some wonderful insight into what David has learned from his own therapy and at the same time giving some excellent advice.

Last but not least, my favorite part of any David show is the personal interaction he has with someone special in the audience. I love how David gives back on a one-on-one level. Those are the moments that stand out; sometimes it’s someone meeting him for the first time and sometimes it’s David waiting patiently to get up enough courage to touch his hand at the end of a show. This interview held that special moment when Josh revealed how much David’s IG of Way Maker meant to him. I won’t go into the specifics of what Josh said, it’s best to hear it firsthand but it will be the one thing I remember most from his 28 minutes with David.

Hearts all over the world ♥

Hey, ramble away, J., totally agree!

I also liked the way Josh asked him to expand on his comment about “change” and that David didn’t shy away from talking about BLM and that Josh gave him space to fully express his thoughts. And loved Kristin’s Q and David’s honest response! Deep thoughts!

All so true! Btw, I also felt David’s pain about rescheduling the tour and the inherent stress of just not knowing. I think most of us can commiserate.

Very special interview….. and yes David’s speaking voice is also so calming! I do see some voice work for an animated character in his future!
Really enjoy hearing Fred Bronson’s words!
David’s insights again to his own emotional state is inspiring, again so glad he found therapy and put is all to music for US!

    Flippin Friday ….far out!

Enjoying Therapy Sessions. The production of each song is, idk, sooo cool!✌️
I don’t know how to describe it, just know I like it!

    And the lyrics…

caught in the act putting on that show
keep with the pace till my feet get cold
workin hard get the spark in my heart to flames
till it all goes up in smoke

With each album he has increasingly put himself out there. To paraphrase the young woman in the Popcrush interview, “the world better get ready” for when he is in love.

so much goodness from David the last couple of days. bless that beautiful man.

Yes!!! Between the back flip (who knew??) 🤣, the songwriter session for You Worry, yesterday’s debut album listening partay and today’s worship song, it’s been like Christmas every day!! 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼

Confession: I am spazzy when it comes to time zones so I was up and ready for the insta live yesterday at 9:00 a.m. ET (which is insanely early for me on a Saturday morn 🙈🤣)… when the actual time was about 11:00 ET. 🤦🏻‍♀️

if you have weather on your phone, set one city to Nashville, it will tell you his local time and you can sleep in or get up early accordingly 🙂

The debut album listening party gave so many insights into the record label process, David’s young mind, so many other amazing things! I loved hearing about how much he loved/loves WAITING FOR YESTERDAY. I cannot tell you how happy that made me.

Is there a link to the debut album listening party somewhere? I can’t BELIEVE I missed this one.

I saw on my news source that HBO has a new documentary out called “Showbiz Kids.” It sounds really good. Of course, it would have been better if they’d included David, but I bet it would be interesting to people interested in his early career. https://www.npr.org/2020/07/18/892263309/showbiz-kids-gives-child-actors-the-chance-to-tell-their-own-stories
