This totally reminds me of my first year of massively OTT ODD when I was working on a David edition of Monopoly. I was busily naming properties and writing Community Chest cards, when a different fan (group?) came out with one. Not as ambitious as the one I was doing, but that was really the smarter thing to do. Next stop, Chutes and Ladders!

I have recently listened to a cd of all Davids American idol studio versions…. takes ya right back to HOW AMAZING HIS VOICE WAS AT 17!!!!

Awesome video, Angels will always be incredibly gorgeous by David and the audio of Say Me, what can I say….beautiful voice, amazing delivery of that sweet song.

Thanks so much for the “bored” game. I wonder how long we will have to play it until the new music and tour dates come out. Oh, well, we Archie’s are getting use to the moving target on when new music and tour dates will be announced. It seems to always take longer than the original stated time frame, but the music is always worth the wait.

Hahahaha! This “bored” game is tailormade for us, and your creativity is exceeded only by your cleverness. I wanted to play, but was terrified I might land on a “SOON” square.
That darned pneumonia robbed me of attending some live Orion concerts, so I have been playing lots of throwback David videos and lovin’ everyone of ‘em. They never really get old y’know. It probably will not surprise you that I had some Christmas in July on the list, specifically several performances of “This Christmas”.

On vakay last week so late response….belated Lololol. I adore this post…made me LOL all the way through.
Thanks for putting in a plug (and novena) for us East Coasters…although, that “DA laughing in distance”, rang too true, haha. hm. *pang* (adds a space there for “pray to St. Jude”..my mom always said to pray to for “lost causes” 😉 )

ps. Haven’t listened to any of the vids here yet, but I see an Angels from the archive….aaahhhh, for so long it was one of my favorites and definitely a song I went to a lot of times to de-stress or when extra calm or confidence was needed. I know it would still have that effect today. I know DA has said certain songs were for “another time” and things move on and change, and yet there were times (maybe not as much now) where I thought if he had dug that out and done a simple, maybe acoustic, version during a concert it’d be unexpected & nice. Maybe the time for that has passed now. Also, just last week, was thinking about Apologize again ~ because out by the pool, heard the original and had a yearning to hear David’s version, as always happens with DA’s covers. Just love the way he used to sing that.
That’s all…just some nostalgic, rambly musings…maybe it was all that “9 years” talk yesterday….
