Holding the meet & greet in the kitchen near the fridge seems strangely appropriate….

Bless Shelley for keeping her camera right on David. 🙂

Singing for 15,000….singing for one…same diff. to David *sobs uncontrollably at the beauty of that*

Again, David has proven that this song, OHN, belongs to him, and him alone. I just never feel from other performers what I feel from David (and not just on this song). He brings the message of this song and delivers it right into my heart and soul! ♥♥

Thank you, TOfan, for seeing that we got it. In other words, thank you for doing the searching and making it easy for us. 🙂

  2. peppertara says:

I agree, OHN does belong to David. Always been my all time favourite Christmas song and David’s rendition just magnified that for me. He’ really is on a whole other level with that, just magnificent! So glad that I got to see him sing it live on one occasion at least.
TOfan, love your “Here are a few of my favourite thiiiiings……” post. All wonderful, festive and joyous….as is the gently falling snow here. 🙂
Love the pic with David and the fan (and the caption), cute!

I think this year’s OHN is David’s best ever. I like his lowered voice and the dynamics seem less forced than they used to, which gives it a more intimate–while still soaring–feeling to me. Intimate yet soaring . . . only The Archuleta.

  4. Martha says:

David’s renditions of OHN as of late are the best I ever heard. He is speaking to us from his heart not only singing. I tear up listening and I have been listening over and over. Nathan said at a rehearsal he teared up hearing David sing this and had to compose himself. This is what music and a true artist is all about.

  5. Grammyj says:

Of course I love David singing OHN, but I laughed out loud on your comment about how appropriate it was for David to hold his meet and greet by the fridge. The guy loves his food.

  6. Marydaisy says:

It’s his own fault that we love him.

  7. refnaf says:

We share a brain! Those are all my favourite things too!

I really think that it is David’s egolessness that allows him to be a conduit for the music to flow through him….. and we are the blessed recipients ❤️

  8. janetpacker says:

Everyone at the table is looking at the camera. Except Dorothy. She can’t take her eyes off David.:)
    We all understand, Dorothy. 😉

  9. Jani says:

Jani here. My name gets mixed up here for some reason. Can’t figure it out. Just put me in Morning Star Senior Living. :):):)

The Grammy nominations were announced today and I have to admit that it makes me jealous that David is not on the list of nominees and may never be nominated. But then I saw the video of ‘Mary did you know’? from Boise where he forgets the words, charms the audience and then proceeds to slay the audience with his voice ,or he helps feed refugees, or visits a seniors home to sing Christmas carols and spends time with each resident and I realize that all the Grammys in the world could never replace what David brings to the world just by being his beautiful self.
