Another kind of temple I got to visit in Taiwan was the LDS temple in Taipei. Another beautiful place! It is neat how both the Buddhist temples and LDS temples have a common denominator of turning back to ancestors and connecting with them. There's definitely a strength found in that connection. I loved going here. It reminds me of what matters most, and who I want to be/become. It reminds me of how important my family is to me and makes me look forward to the future family I'll create someday. I spoke to a group of expats (foreign passport holders) today in Shanghai for a spiritual devotional. It was a great way to wrap up this Asia trip. I haven't quite left yet and I'm already missing it! I hope to come back again soon! #temples #Taiwan #Taipei #family #Sunday #reflective

Our Taiwan trip is coming to an end. It has been an amazing last week and a half! Losing my voice and still getting through events in Taipei, Taichung, Tainan, ChiaYi, Hualien, Kaohsiung, the 2016 Community Awards, and the LDS Taiwan Youth Conference… this has been an unforgettable experience! I'm sad to be leaving Taiwan and the wonderful people who helped us get through it all. Thank you for all of your help and to everyone who came to the shows! This won't be the last time we come! 謝謝! This was a Buddhist temple in Hualien that we visited. It was a beautiful place. I love the emphasis put on connecting with ancestors in this culture. It's so important to keep connected with family even when they've passed on. I have a strong belief that family ties last forever even beyond this life. #Taiwan #Temple #Hualien #buddhisttemple

awwwwww… just awwwwwww

I think it's finally time to share this on social media. I'm so grateful for the opportunity to meet David Archuleta these past 2 weeks! He is such a spiritual, kind, faithful, positive, and talented person! Words can't even fully describe how much I'm thankful for his testimony and music. His music is powerful and can also spread God's love to all of His children! It has become one of the most precious memories of mine, and I want to keep it with me forever! I still feel unreal but it's real that I got to meet this amazing child of God while being in my beautiful country, Taiwan! I also want to express my gratitude to @yhmatthuang and @ztteresa for all of your help along the way! I have learned so much from you both! 這兩個禮拜真的是令我永生難忘 #davidarchuleta #taiwan #music #hosting #grateful

One of the highlights of our time in Shanghai was getting to visit the Shanghai Baby's Home. It was started to help kids in orphanages who need lifesaving treatment. It was touching. These littlest ones are people who can't help themselves. I'm amazed by Daisy and the Shanghai Baby's Home crew who constantly are fighting to help these kids' lives. So glad that the Cook Family brought us here! It reminds me that I need to be grateful that I've had a home and a family who has taken care of me. It's hard to believe the kids in this facility don't have that same support that most kids deserve. Y'all should look into this some more and their cause. We played in the play room and made forts. The kids saw my phone though and seemed to know that there may be some games on there. 😳😅. They immediately found a Disney game that I whip out from time to time. Glad we could all share a love for Disney. Link to their Facebook will be in my bio. Photo Credit: Daisy at Shanghai Baby's Home #Shanghai #shanghaibabyshome #China #orphans

Count me in on being very impatient for the new David music. Release it already David! I’m beginning to think that the article last fall that indicated that “Numb” would be released in January meant January 2017. Oh, well we got “Workin” and a you-tube of the Chinese song. I guess that’s something. Thanks for the humor!
