What a true blue, heartwarming post for us Canadian fans (and all fans), yes it is. I give that photo that David posted, a million stars, just the best. His message is just as wonderful. Makes you smile from ear to ear. Poor guy, driving all those hours (and wonderful Kari) she really is a trooper. Am glad though, that his bag was still there! So glad he really enjoyed his trip up here and it was such a good time for all. ‘Till next time David.’ 🙂

I heard this interview on CBC radio this morning. It was with two super senior responsible type folks… one the Commissioner of the Ontario Human Rights Commission and her husband, who’s a partner at Deloitte Touche, and they happen to be Pearl Jam super fans, for almost 20 years!
The husband had followed the band on one entire tour and has seen about 65 shows. Renu has only seen about 35. They’ve even followed the tour with their small kids but hit cities with friends or relatives where they have built-in babysitters, lol. 🙂 They said Pearl Jam was touring when the couple were on their honeymoon but they thought that might be crossing the line, lol.
Apparently Pearl Jam has an official fan club and those peeps get preferred seating and it’s assigned according to “seniority” so you end up sitting with the same group at every show.
They said being interviewed on the radio was probably “outing” them because a lot of their friends and colleagues probably didn’t know how avid they were.
Anyway, just wanted to share. 🙂
