Such a great surprise that Nathan sang “The Prayer” with David at the show last night. Those lucky fans that were there! I am so thankful for the periscopes so I could get a glimpse of the concert. Looks like it was a fabulous crowd and David’s voice was in top form. Love that he brought up the six year old girl and sang “Glorious” to her.
Does anyone know what kind of event David is doing at Snow College today?? Lucky students!

David apparently declined the invitation to appear on the Idol finale. Since there is such a long list of those who are appearing, I’m sure he was asked. I guess he’s done with that part of his life. I’m so glad that he was a contestant on Idol as otherwise we probably would have never heard his magical voice.
Do we know for sure he declined? Not that it would surprise me. Just wondering.
To be honest, I suspected them of asking him only if he’d come back and do Imagine… again 😯 … and I bet that’s true because when Adam Lambert was on, they had him do part of that Mad World song he was known for during his season (I wasn’t watching but even I heard the buzz about it).
No, I don’t know for sure that he declined. It’s just that it appears they asked all first and second place finishers so why would they leave out David? He was a very popular contestant. Katherine McFee sang “Somewhere Over the Rainbow” last night so, yes, they probably would have asked David to sing “Imagine” again if he would have appeared.

I have been following the you-tube videos that Castro the Band has been posting since they started up their family band. I found them very interesting and fun. They did a small tour in dive bars and small venues. It was such a contrast to the lovely theaters and amphitheaters David has been playing. In one venue the sound guy was drunk and in another one the sound guy was taken out by ambulance so they had to figure out how to run the sound themselves.
Well, I wish Jason Castro and family all the best. TOfan, many thanks for all the updates here and the videos are wonderful to watch. A special treat that Nathan was there and he and David did The Prayer, beautiful! David sounds so good and he really looked like he was having a great time on stage, looked pretty comfortable and as they say “he rocked it”!
Again, a big thank you to all who provided us with updates, periscope, videos, etc. They rock too!

As for A.I. I tend to think that David declined too but then again who knows. Can’t imagine them not asking him.
