It’s really too bad this girl is already married, they have so much in common! Both beautiful, both wear shirts buttoned right up to choking level, both cap-wearers, and she brings him food … more specifically, “simple but good” pizza (as opposed to the dreaded, complicated bad pizza). And he did want to learn a new language, why not Kyrgyzstanian… Kyrgyzstanish? And seeing him look so dang happy warms my cold, cold heart, yes it does.

This @rhiminee post is a must-read too. It made me think of a convo I had with my dad yesterday. He rarely asks me about work or life, or anything, lol, but all of a sudden he blurted out: “So how is Mr. Archuleta?” Like we’re buds.
I said, “um, fine I think. He’s working on new music.”
Dad: “What kind of music does he do exactly? How would you describe it?”
Me: “He calls it ‘soulful pop’.”
Dad: “Soulful pop??”
Like I’d said ‘existential Klingon rap.’
Me: “Well, it’s pop music but he sings with a lot of soul, so it has a soulfulness to it.”
Dad: “Can you hum me a few bars?”
I contemplated humiliating myself by belting out Elevator but reconsidered.
Me: “He writes his own songs but you’ve probably heard the songs he covers… do you know Peter Gabriel’s ‘Don’t Give Up’?”
Dad: “No.”
Me: “Everybody Hurts by REM?”
Dad: “No.”
Me: “The U2 song Pride?”
Dad: “No.”
My dad only listens to classical and opera, so I finally saw the futility of listing every song on BEGIN… Oh wait, he also likes Spanish music.
Me: “He speaks Spanish so he’s written some really good Spanish songs too.”
Dad: “Spanish? Oh, that’s nice.”
My dad likes to tease us a lot so it took me a while to realize what he was doing. He was trying to understand something that he knows is really important to me…the music I love.

Pope Francis has a very savvy social media presence. I don’t know if he writes these things himself, but they are so sincere and wonderful for today’s too-brutal world. I looked at his Instagram account and it struck me why celebrities often choose it to be their main social media outlet. It’s nearly impossible for haterz to hold a conversation there. It’s just not a conversation platform.
Ah, the DavidArchie nostalgia! I can’t dwell long, I’ll tear up. He has/we have come so far.
I think that’s why I prefer IG these days my self… drama-free, lol.
Follow any Kardasian and trust me you will see drama and fights. Also the big thing is to post “I have Kim’s new cell number! Follow me if you want me to give it you.” Or some try to sell stuff like colon cleanse or diet pills. I don’t actually read much of it, but more fascinated at how many likes and comments they generate in a matter of minutes. Same thing on JB’s.
It was nice to see JB get support from his fans about stopping M&G’s. Basically repeated the same reasons that David said to us.

I have been asked about David by various people in my life. Work clients and even my dental hygienist ask what he is doing these days. I usually whip out my phone and let David do the talking err singing, I mean. The whole dentist office suite heard Oh Ven Emanuel and the Prayer as i got my teeth cleaned. I didn’t hear any complaints.
The older clients are the most interested in hearing the latest song. They appreciate his voice and know what a sweet guy he is. I have been known to play some of his interviews.
Funny thing is that NO ONE in my house EVER asks about him. Go figure.

Your dentist office sounds more friendly than mine! lol … My dad usually only asks about David to tease me about him, so I was kind of in shock that he actually sounded sincere, if that makes sense.

None of my relatives really ask me about David anymore, I do share a song once in a while but guess things aren’t at a face pace in the Archuworld as they used to be either. I’m sure David is happy with that too……just as long as the music keeps coming. 🙂

In other news, Justin Bieber just posted this message on his Instagram, cancelling all future meet & greets… sound familiar??
Love u guys.. I’m going to be canceling my meet and greets. I enjoy meeting such incredible people but I end up feeling so drained and filled with so much of other people’s spiritual energy that I end up so drained and unhappy.. Want to make people smile and happy but not at my expense and I always leave feeling mentally and emotionally exhausted to the point of depression .. The pressure of meeting people’s expectations of what I’m supposed to be is so much for me to handle and a lot on my shoulders. Never want to disappoint but I feel I would rather give you guys the show and my albums as promised. Can’t tell you how sorry I am, and wish it wasn’t so hard on me.. And I want to stay in the healthy mindset I’m in to give you the best show you have ever seen 😉
