In David’s blog, he mentioned trying to find the right producer for his new music. Our crack team of investigative bloggers here at SAz (basically me) has unearthed a very nearly almost positively possibly fictional transcript of that very interview process.
Interview 1
David: What kind of music do you like?
Producer: Miley…
D: NEXT!

D: What is the best kind of parka?
P: Say what?

P: I dunno, I’m from Texas… what is the best kind of parka?

P: I’ve won 10 Grammys, a Tony and I’m on the short-list for the Producers Hall of Fame.
D: No, I mean, literally, what do you bring to the table… like snacks.

P: I do.

P: My what?

D: Your samples sound … amusing. Are you interested in artistry, in capturing an authentic musical experience that cuts to the core of the listener’s raw humanity?
P: If it’s a smash, sure.

D: What’s your favourite of all of my songs?
P: That one, “Shawty, why’d you leave me….”

D: Woo! Lucky 7! I have a good feeling about this y’all. Tell me a little about yourself.
P: I’ve worked with Sara Bareilles, Jason Mraz, Adele, John Meyer. Did I mention Adele?
D: Wow, awesome.
P: I start every session with a prayer and a big bowl of guacamole and chips, then we take a break to go snowboarding.
D: When can you start??
P: One thing, I only have a temporary visa so we’ll have to do all the sessions in Toronto.
D: NEXT!
Yes, he will come someday, but until then…

This is clearly the funniest one ever !!!! I laughed audibly after each interview. ( I rarely do that.) I really loved the first and last the best, but they were all amazing. The longer we wait the more twisted we get . hahahhahahahahahahahahahahahahahahhahahahahahahahaha
