GAHHHHHH… I know it was Nathan’s show and all. And I’m sure he’s a tip top guy but am I the only one whose brain does not register it’s a duet and instantly tunes him out as soon as David starts singing??
After the 234343th listen, I did force myself to take in how beautifully their voices blend together… and how very David to take the harmony part… oh what a harmony line he comes up with, though, so original and like an arrow piercing through the clouds of heaven … *replays*.

Bracing myself for the full video ofThe Prayer, I got such chills listening to those clips. The one from the middle of the song reminded me of a kind of “sing off” with David coming back stronger each time with his trademark runs and power, absolutely thrilling!

The snippets are marvelous so I can’t wait to hear the whole thing. It will be his best duet ever. Nathan has a gorgeous voice too and they blend really well. I do hear the “sing off” like The Voice when they go back and forth! Nathan indicated the whole concert was being taped to be released in the future. Hope that pans out. For some reason when David sings and a live video is promised it usually doesn’t happen except, of course, when he sang with MOTAB.

Wow, how gorgeous are those snippets? Two beautiful voices blended together. Can’t help but hear D with his amazing runs and signature style vocals that always lend some ‘perfection’ to anything he sings. How nice that he did this duet with Nathan…..oh would so love a video of the entire song, let’s hope. Great photos too, love the “adorbs pocket-sized musical couple???!”

Absolutely out of this world! If a couple of 60 seconds snippets can make my heart beat rapidly, I can just imagine what listening to the whole song will do!!! I just might need some de-fib to take place!! Oh, how I hope we get the whole thing!! ❤

Sooooo totally random, but was out at a local diner having dinner and they had the baseball game on the TV over the counter area (because Blue Jays) and a blonde singer starts singing God Bless America after the 7th inning and I thought “hmm, looks like Gracie Schramm… and wait, didn’t she say she was from Kansas??” and, sure enough:

Did David really go from singing the low harmony to that high run? He continues to amaze. I would love to hear him sing in this style again–that classical-crossover genre.

I know how hard duets can be to pull off, especially when you’re used to always doing one part and you have to change gears and do the other one… a walk in the park for D. of course… or at least he makes it look that way! 🙂
Saw from some comments on David’s IG post that he performed Crush and MKOP at the piano… looks like some Nathan fans have discovered David! 🙂
I just love that David keeps his own style when singing The Prayer (with whoever he duets with)… the fact that he has his own sound, his own style is one reason a lot of us are fans, I think. Nathan’s voice is lovely, but can I tell it from Andrea Boccelli’s? Not so much. And I love that the other 2 songs he did were his own pop stuff, that he wants to write and perform the kind of songs that he listens to himself. Go, David!!!

It makes me extremely happy to see David keeping his own style and sound. Of course, no one can ever duplicate David’s sound. He has created it (I wonder if he could patent it).
The piano?!!!! He must be feeling seriously confident in his piano skills to play in a venue like that! My goodness! He never stops with what he’s done, he just continues to grow. Keep it up, David, we will grown with you!
Imagine if some kind of audio engineer could take David’s lead part (in his Chile version) and pair it with his harmony part here. 🙂 🙂 🙂 Crazy thought huh?
It is so nice to come to this website. Whether you are doing a humorous post , a serious post, or just fangirling about David, you are always so respectful and loving. David absolutely deserves a fan like you . Also that last idea by Marin is mindboggling. That might just be too much awesomeness to take in. I think David can hold his own with any singing partner. He is just that good.
