Yes, I admit, I did want to see a pic of David wearing one of those body armour helmets… but not like this… in a helicopter getting shot at!!!!! *someone hold me*
But then there’s this….
And this….
And this….
And this….
And this…
And this….
And this….
And this…..
from Jason’s new blog…
Excerpt: “David Archuleta – I’ve said all that can possibly be said about this great young man who is truly one of the great examples I’ve ever been around. His voice is as the angels of heaven, his heart is pure, his obedience rivals Nephi. Amazing ability to craft each song, care for creating a moment for the audience rather than worrying about making it sound good for his own glory, rather hoping they will feel something, and what’s awesome is that they always do.”
Read the rest of his amazing novel here. 🙂
P.S.
More pics!
and videooooo … thanks, Jonerzz!!!
all i can say is , i lovde it,david is the best ,thats all floks.
Thanks for bringing over the best pictures from Jason’s blog and giving them funny captions. Jason’s blog was so amazing. I love the detail. I felt almost like I was there with them plus he can make you laugh and cry. I’m going to miss him chronicling the tour. Next time David does a tour he needs to take Jason along or Dean. Love Dean’s blogs too.
I really love the sunglasses picture – great smile!

^^^^^^^^^^THAT^^^^^^^^^^
….is what I’ve been trying to say, ad nauseum for the last 6 yrs. (esp. that last sentence….yes,
yes and YES!! Amen.) …and call me selfish, but….I can’t wait ’til he comes home and does that for us all again. Yes, I always talk about my admiration of David as a person, and that’s a given, but my love, respect & appreciation knows no bounds when I think about David the artist.
So glad this tour was such an awe-inspiring experience for all concerned.
ps. The push-up is the new “handstand.” 😉
Is this the snack room? ROFL
VideOOOOOOOO!!! http://t.co/hqrUe3CqRA
Hmmmm……don’t know why my avi didn’t show up, but anyway…VIDEOOOOOO!!!!! Squeeeee!!!
Thanks for all the amazing updates TOfan! Trying to catch up on all the wonderful photos, blogs and this new little video is awesome. Love what they are doing over there. Yikes, is right, the helicopter ride, wow. Loved Jason’s blog (little novel, ha), really brings you in to the experiences over there, love Dean’s blogs too. All the updates are great, who knew we would be showered with so much goodness from this tour! Love the video with David and the troops ‘groovin’ to his music, sweet! So inspiring for the four guys, the troops and for all of us who follow along.
Does anyone recognize David’s song with the video? I don’t recognize it.
The song is Hey Brother by Avicii. I saw that on his set list and went to youtube to hear it. The video is amazing and very appropriate.
TOfan, as usual you leave me laughing. You’re good for what ails ya. Love the one singing “all you beautifuuuuul girls….hey, wait. Too funny.
Lynne
I was wondering that too, beloirti so thank you lynnella… where did you see his set list though?
I just read Dean’s latest blog
https://www.facebook.com/dean.kaelin.18
and had to laugh at this “Today was a rest day since our flight out of Kuwait left at 2:45am. David said he got down on the floor to do some exercises after lunch and he ended up falling asleep right on the hard floor. Haha.” … poor guy, must be exhausted!
I tried to find it, but couldn’t. One of his tourmates wrote it in something. I had never heard of the song and thought at first they meant Hey Soul Sister by Train. He sang that once before. So when I looked on youtube I found Hey Brother by Avicii. When I saw the video, I knew that had to be it. The video is so touching, about a brother who goes off to war. Here is the link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6Cp6mKbRTQY.
That reply should have been from Lynne, but it didn’t take my name.
Thanks lynnella, hadn’t seen that video, helped me understand what the song is about, how perfect for this tour. Nice to hear David has been catching up on music he’s missed these past two years. Now we need to hear the whole song! 🙂
