@DavidArchie gems I can’t believe I forgot about

Over six years, David really has given us SO much music that sometimes I totally forget about favourites I’ve had, faves like:

Think of Me, Today Show: The studio version makes me burst into tears, it’s soooo beautiful, and I LOVE this live version, especially the ending, which he changes up, again.

Works For Me, Fox & Friends: And A++ for the hair, just sayin’

She’s Not Chew… can still totally hear this on radio:

GBA, Constitution Fair: Possibly the only U.S. patriotic song I’ll ever have on my iPod:

The Riddle, Billboard Live: When David starts playing the piano at the beginning I have a hard time comprehending that that’s really him playing for some reason, lol…

MH, York, PA: How could I forget my original fave from the little red album??? And the ending here, whoahhhh!

Hey Soul Sister: And I totally forgot about this gem!

How about you guys, what are your forgotten faves?

Thanks for these. Some I hadn’t listened to before. Those songs, especially God Bless America, reminded me of how much I love his voice and how much I love to hear him sing. I’ve gotten so much joy along this path and expect to get more ❤️

Quick fly-by this morning, only looked at Think of Me, so far, (will come back and truly enjoy all vids later tonight)…but first just had to say…awwww….those were some good days, “that cute little peanut”…back in the days when I still called him, endearingly, “little David.” (Ok thanks for indulging my sappy nostalgia for a moment there..)
Anyhoo, “Think of Me”…I love love the AI studio version too…one day I played it on rotation on my iPod on one of my walks, it just sounded soooo good. This version here…love the way he changes up the notes. Love the waves, the happy happy (hair! 😉 ) smiles at the end. Love the adoring audience, the post-AI7 excitement that he really was the true impetus for that year. 🙂
I love when I find old gems on YT now and again….can’t think of a one right now, but will be back later to enjoy these.

oh WAIT! “My Hands” <3<3<3 My fav too from "the LRA"; STILL one of my FAVS (it just never gets old to me…sign of a well-written song.) This vid has me holding my "PREACH!" hand up in my kitchen right now, LOL…because those nah-nah-nahhhhhs at the end "worth the price of admission!!" right there. haha. phew. Ok, (gathers composure)…tks for that TOfan.
Have a good day, all. 🙂

A crazy Monday ahead for me, but I had to revisit these gems first. Those videos also include a flood of fan memories—so much fun! I love the “he-can-sing-anything” vocal surprises we get from D, although nothing should really surprise us at this point. Just mentioning a few from the past that come to mind:

“Don’t Stop Believin’” (Halftime at the Sun Bowl)
    “Bubbly” (Pittsburgh)
“No Me Queda Mas” (Selena tribute at Tejano Awards event)
“No Air” (With Jordan Sparks in Miami)
