A friend on FB posted this amazing story about scientists who looked at human tears under a microscope. Each type of tears (laughing till you cry, tears from grief, from onions, etc.) revealed its own vastly different pattern when looked at closely.
So I started thinking… how many times has David made us cry? What would those tears look like? Fortunately I have a close personal friend at the National Imaginary Science Institute of Canada and she got me to relive all those tearful David moments, put those tears under a microscope and here are the results:
Tears from listening to Imagine look like this:
Scorchingly painful tears from the AI7 finale when David came 2nd look like this:
Tears when the Build-A-Bear song comes on shuffle and you can’t change it fast enough:
Tears when you watch David being unbearably adorkable slash touching in a vlog:
Tears when he sings Save the Day:
Tears when he sings Broken:
Tears when he doesn’t sing for a long, long, long, long time:
Home from Mission tears:
Tears when you notice HE’S HAD ANOTHER HAIRCUT!!!!!
Tears when you read his touching Mother’s Day tribute to Lupe on Instagram paired with the goofiest selfie he’s ever taken and it hits you that this mythical creature is precisely why you’re still here … those tears look like this under a microscope:
“Oh, David” tears when you realize that he was probably on a date in this picture:
How about you guys? Do you have any David-related tears you’d like examined under a microscope?
