Love this EH review in Orange Magazine:
“The music video, released last August 22 only get 182,256 views as of this writing. This is quite disappointing compared to the other music videos released on YouTube. David Archuleta‘s new video is actually heart-warming and deserves more views. I personally believe a talented artist like David Archuleta should not be put to waste.
“Everybody Hurts is originally performed by R.E.M., and was released on the band’s 1992 album Automatic for the People and became a hit single in 1993. The song was voted “the most depressing song of all time” according to a poll conducted by The Telegraph.” (LOL at that last line 😆 )

Enjoyed this post and that great review. So why am I me “with the sad eyes?” Sigh. I think it’s the season, and no David.
With plenty of company coming for both Thanksgiving and Christmas, I have been trying to change my focus to some necessary planning and preparation. In the process, it occurred to me that I have spent the last three holiday seasons traveling to David Archuleta concerts: 2009 CFH (3); 2010 MoTab & Anaheim (3); and 2011 MKOC (3).
I don’t remember slighting my family during those times; but now I’m not sure. I pledge to make it up to them this year—custom made David Archuleta Chia Pets for everyone!
You’re so right, we have been spoiled these last 3 Christmases… 4 if you count the Jingle Ball/Jam thingies … sigh … “David Archuleta Chia Pets”… BRILLIANT, I WANT ONE!!!!!

I don’t think the voting amntuos to anything. I remember that many of my calls didn’t even get through. Perhaps the phone lines couldn’t handle all the calls for David Archuleta. So ultimately, there wasn’t a true count of votes. I mentioned that on an Idol website at the time and got kicked off! Oops.
Gosh, I wish I would have had that information earlier!
