Full disclosure: When I first heard “I’ll Never Go,” the first thought that popped into my head was “LIAR!!!!!!”
Now that I’ve had time to accept, well, reality, I’ve come to love the song.
And since David said the whole “Forevermore” album was for the fans, I take his choosing this track to mean that even though he is far away from us, he’s left this music, this part of himself, here with us all.
Not gonna lie though, the quick closeup of the suitcase at the end of this teaser clip did this to me.
How about you guys? What were your first impressions of “I’ll Never Go”?

Love the song!! I believe that David is near in Spirit Even though he is in Chile!! So in Spirit and in his heart we are close. Kari responded to someone that had said Lie Lie Lie, that that was one reason in hesitated to sing the song but loved it. He said in an Interview that he was thinking of the fans when he recorded the songs. That suitcase gave me a stomach flip, but haven’t resorted to overeating or drinking . Been there done that!! but love the photos and buckets of tears.

Lol, the over emotive pictures are so funny, haha. I love I’ll Never Go, David’s soaring vocals are fabulous. The teaser is great! Well, actually David hasn’t gone too too far. Just think, when he does come back he will return in less than a day.
…and yes, he is still with us through his music and as he said, a piece of his heart is with his fans. How sweet is that. Don’t think any dessert can quite compare.
“I’ll never go far away from you”……he’ll come back to music and to his fans…yes.

I think Works For Me will always be one of my all time faves of Davids. So unique, catchy, sweet and yes….full of soulful goodness, especially live!
O ne of my favorite memories is seeing David for the first time in Reno and hearing him ad lib on the Intro to Works For Me when Mike was having guitar problems. He didn’t even turn around to see what was going on . Soulful Goodness for sure!!
