Another new article in the now very famous “Leaks” series!!
At first, I really loved the “So Long, David Archuleta!” video. It is beautifully done – capturing some of the best photos and scenes with David – that surely all us Archies enjoy!
I liked the song so much that I searched Youtube for the artist, Mayer Hawthorne and even considered buying his music… until I watched his unedited (VEVO) video of the song, “The Walk.” I now have mixed feelings!

Even if “The Walk” video is a “take-off” of a movie or just more of what “sells” nowadays, I personally regret that David is associated with this song. Didn’t even bother to listen to any more of Hawthorne’s music. I’m disappointed that one video could change my mind like this. Just my opinion, but I can’t separate the song from what is seen in the video!
So, I say now, “So long, Mayer Hawthorne. You did me wrong!!”
