Deb, you nailed it. I whole hardheartedly approve of your list. Given the chance I would add He Showed Me How and Forever but I’ll wait for that one and only sacred concert if need be.

I love your list Deb! I’m soooooo on board with Christmas Every Day! I wake to that gem of a song daily! It’s my alarm! Although it’s in my mind before I even wake too!

Love your list too Deb and ‘The River’ would be so good! I guess for me my list would include O Holy Night, Christmas Every Day, Winter In The Air, White Christmas, In The Bleak Midwinter, Mary’s Boy Child, Some Children See Him and anything else David chose to sing (so many to choose from)! A song in Spanish would be wonderful and ‘He Showed Me How’ would be lovely. Still love Pat A Pan, that’s always great and I don’t think there is any doubt that he will be singing ‘Christmas Every Day’. 🙂 Fabulous tour coming up!

Love everything you included on your list, TOfan! I would also add Il Est Ne Le Divin Enfant. I can’t remember where he sang that, but he did a fantastic job. I would also love to hear a perfected performance of Song for a Winter’s Night. I can’t wait to hear the gorgeous set list that he’ll have in store for us!

You did a great job, Deb! I think I would like Glorious in Spanish, whereas if I have to hear the line, “It’s like a symphony, just keep on listening, and pretty soon…” 20 more times I may very well scream and not in delight. (vent over).

Love all the Spanish songs to choose from! If he wanted to do Riu, Riu, Chiu (sp?) and Feliz Navidad, I wouldn’t be sad.

I completely agree with Spirit….Il Est Ne Le Divin Enfant was fantastic. Think that was from his 2015 tour, loved it. He couldn’t have sung that lovely French carol more perfectly! Had forgotten about that one. Also had forgotten about Song For A Winter’s Night, another one I would love to hear again (yes a perfected version). He sings it beautifully even with errors!
Agree with all the song suggestions here. I think David would have to do a concert marathon to include every song that fans would love to hear! Whatever he shares is always incredible.

Happy Thanksgiving to those celebrating it today. Taking a brake from cleaning and cooking to add my two cents. Love your list TOfan. i have some to add and I just have Christmas songs or my list would be wayyyy too long.
I would add Ave Maria, Silent Night and Gesu Bambino from the concert with the MTC, Riu Riu Chu, and Mary’s Boy Child.
I think my favorites on his new CD are his creations, which makes me happy! He is Born blows me away. I love it. It should be the processional in every Christmas Eve service in the country. The lines “Some day he’ll give his life for me and now he sleeps so peacefully”. That brings me to tears. David sings it with such beauty, passion and love.
The french carol “Il est ne le divin enfant” is played in the instrumentals in Mary’s Boy Child. More reason to love that one!
I have so many reasons to be thankful, including David and TOfan. Hope you do as well.

Thanks, Poof! Happy Thanksgiving to you!!!!

I love He is Born, as well… I agree about the processional, would not be a dry eye in the pews!

    Ha ha,, brake!

Just wanted to say Happy Thanksgiving to those in the U.S. celebrating. Appreciate everyone’s comments here, insights and noteworthy words about all the wonderful songs David blesses us with. 🙂
