Here are the car-aoke snippets David shared… so far I am LOVING all the original songs… the title track, He Is Born and Christmas Every Day all sound amazing from what we’ve heard so far!
Tears immediately welled up and I was clutching my chest when David started singing the title track snippet. I AM NOT READYYYY!!!!

Ha, I was just replaying the snippets as I have been doing over and over. This will be a fabulous Christmas album! Loving everything I’ve heard, some of my favourite songs are on this album. Hearing that little bit of the title track…….well, tt sounds just gorgeous. Can’t wait to have the entire album to listen to! Coming very soon. π

I had high expectations for this album, and of course is was even better than I expected!!! The title track, βWinter in the Airβ is a gorgeous love song that should be in a Hallmark Christmas movie! βHe is Bornβ is a joyous worship song that shares the true meaning of Christmas. βChristmas Every Dayβ makes me happy and puts me in the Christmas spirit. Davidβs take on all the Christmas standards on his album are unique and fabulous. And what can I say about Davidβs Spanish Christmas EP except it was BREATHTAKING!

I am blown away by his original songs the most… did not see that coming… have loved Christmas Every Day since it came out but now the title track, Winter in the Air is my new fave… burst into tears even at his car snippet, there’s something really special about it for me… it’s not like any song I’ve heard before and yet it sounds like a classic… I just feel transported when I listen to it, and there’s a sweet melancholy in his voice, so gentle and soft, gahhhhh… IT SLAYS MEEEEE!!!!!
Sidenote: I laughed out loud (perhaps snorted) when he sang the “Kiss her once for me” line in Holly Jolly, BWAH! π π π
Has anyone listened to the Spanish ones? Disappointed he didn’t include the Spanish version of “Glorious” (confession: I actually like that one better).
Well, I was immersed in the new music late in to the night. Got my Itunes downloads and wow, even more beautiful than I expected. I think you could write an entire essay on this wonderful album (and the absolutely gorgeous EP).! Love the arrangements too.
Love the songs he sings and that voice is so perfect for all of them. His new songs are so good!
For now will just say that the title track is stunning! Moved me to tears too for some reason as did some of the other songs like some of my faves…In the Bleak Midwinter, Some Children See Him… but then David has a way of doing that with his voice alone. He turns a song in to a unique masterpiece. What a beautiful album! Will be listening from now until Christmas (and afterwards).

Wow, wow, wow, WOW! Flail. Jaw dropped. It’s even better than I hoped.
David never disappoints. Just when you think he can’t get any better, bam! You’re flattened by “Winter in the Air.” His originals are so good, tears in the eyes for the whole trio.
I did have one disappointment. I didn’t care for that version of Glorious. Is it the original one from the movie? David has done Glorious live so many glorious times this one just isn’t my fave.
I’m having a holly jolly Christmas right now!
I’m with you MissB regarding Glorious. It has gone around the block many times, and it just really doesn’t seem like a Christmas song to me. But hey! It’s there for those that love it!

finding hard to spazz when i’m pretty much speechless. i think the spazzing will come in small doses as i appreciate each song as i get to know them individually. there are so many nuances woven into each one. i’m so happy he is taking his time on each project.
