After 9 years of denial and embarrassing flashbacks, I actually feel a little better about my first meeting with David, aka “the motherlode of awkwardness.”

ROFL! These are some really great, creative moments in meeting fans! A little Photoshop and … I would never. Mostly never.
I was in the VIP line right behind the girl in Portland who got the prom pic, the one with the dark brown bandeau-style top. I wasn’t listening to what she was asking but David twice said, “No, I don’t think I could do that.”
My own “pro tips” include, “Know where to look at the camera LENS on your phone” and “Use flash if David is wearing a hat.” I have a couple of pics from Portland, ME, VIP where the flash tip was not applied. Absolutely all you can see of David upper face is his nose.
I have been so sick since my New England adventure that I haven’t had time to miss David. It’s kind of hitting me today. Gosh, I have a great time at his shows!
Okay now I’m dying to know what she asked him to do that he said no to… maybe the Elijah Lift. 😂

VIPs are an adrenalin rush experience. The Highs are awesome and the Lows, well, hmmm, I want to say in the pits of Hell but that sounds overly dramatic…and, yet, describes it perfectly.
