What a ride this has been, eh, folks?
The new songs, the dancing, the fun random IG stories, the dancing, the bowling shoes, the… well, you get the idea.
My favourite thing to see (besides the 🕺🕺🕺) was the joy that seemed to ooze out of every one of David’s tiny pores up on that stage and off.
With every hair flip, salted-caramel-dipped vocal run, beautiful, from-the-heart story, quick-dry wit, his IGs and everything else he so generously shared with us.

Maybe it’s the fact that I was there last night at that EPIC show in my hometown so my concert high may be affecting my thoughts but in my mind there’s no question that this has been his BEST tour to date. And for me personally, that show last night was the BEST that I’ve been to…and I’ve been to 1 or 2 shows…or so…or it could be that I was practically ON the stage I was so close. 😉
I really do think we have a LOT to look forward to!!! 🙂
David performing in your hometown must be extra special! Happy I was able to take in a concert on this tour, such great memories.
I agree, David’s joy, spirit, comfort level, moves and grooves, oodles of soul as he belts out those notes and runs, with those never ending stellar vocals, what could be better at a concert?
I always think every tour that comes up seems to be the best tour but this one brought something new I think and extra special. A new found David who seems so happy in his own skin and what he is doing, with some wonderful new music to share, I think he has done an incredible job on this tour! Glad he had such a great time, I know we all did…..and there is more to come. 🙂
This tour, in my opinion (and I’m not alone I can tell), has been the best hands down!! Even my hubby said that on our way home from the Layton show. He is so much more relaxed in his stage presence. Even his vocals seem more relaxed. I guess it’s because he’s singing ‘his’ songs. ♥ I can’t wait for the next ride on this carousel. 😀
My favorite! I loved the “jump” part and his dancing and his chatter and how you can tell how much he loves singing his own songs. I feel like he is connecting with the audience better than he ever has. I love the new David!

This was the first time I saw David perform live and I will never be the same again. He is just <3333 and sunny and funny and I am so proud to be a fan. It was totally worth the 9+ years that I've been waiting to see him. He is THE BEST. I also really enjoyed meeting other David fans for the first time. You guys keep me going with the videos and the fangirling/fanboying!
That is so awesome, Vidya! Were you surprised by how he is and sounds live? What was your favourite part?? Here I am with all these questions falling from my ceiling low! lolol
Yes! I was very surprised by how he is and how he sounds live, which is strange because I knew it was David and I already had very high expectations (sky-high), but he surpassed all of them!! Multifold! I’ve also read over and over again, from concert recaps, that people were surprised by how tiny he is in person. Despite knowing that, the first thing that popped into my head was “aaww he’s tiny” LOL. Which was nice, because it made him more human.
The first three songs during the VIP, I just stood there with tears streaming down my face because I just could not believe that I was seeing him in real life after all those years of watching videos of his performance.
My favorite part was his random rambling, and his speech about real beauty before he sang Beautiful/Scars to Your Beautiful. And when he sang a couple of lines from Scars to Your Beautiful straight to me <3. His presence and his light is DIVINE, and I cannot get over what it felt like seeing him live and meeting him. He exudes goodness and kindness, and he makes me want to be a better human being. I only wish I was more coherent when I met him at the VIP. I kept saying thank you: he must have thought I was a crazy thank you machine!! But honestly, what DO fans say to him when they meet him? I could not think of anything haha.
I will never forget this first concert. It was hands-down the best day of my life.

Oh, I forgot to add: I am astounded by his confidence now. He is IN COMMAND. Of himself, of the stage, and of the people around him. It is empowering to see him like this. At the same time, he is humble, down-to-earth, and has a good sense humor, and that is the best kind of person there can be.

I hadn’t seen him in a year and I thought he does look tiny lol. I don’t think he’s 5’5″ like he says lol (he should know) because my daughter is 5’6″ easy and when she stands next to him he’s almost a smidge taller than her. But anyway, I got concerned when he started shaking hands because the young girls nearly pulled in off the stage! I thought there was going to be a mosh pit lol.
Yes, the best tour, even though I have not been to that many shows. The way he commands the stage is my favorite part of this & his eye contact and connection with the crowd. His talent and voice is a given. Perfect every time and I saw him as he did his 3rd show in a row! — Martha ♥

It’s so great to see David so confident and happy! I think we can all agree that he def has found his groove in terms of music and what he can do with it. Wish his ahem “team” would do abut more promo, but it is up to David I guess!

Did not get to see David on his first Solo Tour but did see him sing that song in concert on another tour. It was all incredibly good!
