Such sad, sad news. Michael was one of my favourites from S7, loved his soulful voice and sense of humour. Can hardly believe it.

So very sad to read about Michael. A really talented guy with a great sense of humour. Much too young to leave, so very unfortunate this happened. I remember seeing him on a special with D Foster and he was so good, yes…had a unique and soulful sound.
Thoughts and prayers for his family and friends, I know he will be missed. Sad news.
Such devastating news to hear about Michael Johns ;(. I loved his personality and he really did have such a great voice! He will be sadly missed by all those who knew him…sending my condolences and prayers to his wife, family and friends.
Was so very shocked and saddened to hear of such an untimely passing of Michael Johns, and from such an apparently random, unexpected cause. Jeez. Life, sometimes. Stopped in his prime and such talent. Enjoyed him and his playful humor…he was another of the “special stories” from that magical Season 7 of American Idol.
Thank you for posting that article link, Deb…so much in that I didn’t know. The stories behind the scenes in this tough music biz really show how tricky and hard it can be…and what a long, winding road leads to every proverbial “overnight success” story.

I am so sad. I loved his joy in life, his great voice and the care he showed for all those he worked with and loved. The Idol family has lost a favorite.

It is sad Deb, but I’m glad they are getting together to share their memories of a great guy and friend. It will help the healing.
It’s been a hard weekend! So very sad about Michael. He was one of my favorites too. Prayers are with his wife, family, friends and fans. RIP Michael.
