Oh love the pic at the top, you can see the emotion in David’s eyes, aw. Letter writing? Well, I did send David a card before he left for his mission. I’m hoping it was in the big box of cards and letters he showed us! It was just a card to say thank you for all he has done for his fans and to wish him well on his 2 yr journey. For me it was simply…Dear David but I think I like some of your greetings better TOfan, especially “yo, wassup, buttercup?” LOL. My fave, haha.
I picked up some postcards and think I will send him one periodically. As for letter writing, don’t know if i will do that or not. Thinking of the limited time he will have to read them. A postcard? Well, maybe he can glance at some of those (from around the world, might be nice) 🙂

Haven’t written a letter yet. But when I do I might start “Dear Future Husband”. lol that’ll scare him off 😛

Anyhow, greetings to my Snowangelz neighbors!
I did mail a picture postcard from my hometown. Told David the only Buffalo
around here – are listed as “burgers” on the menu in the diners!! 🙂
Rotfl….I sent him a card before he left but had to write it out a few times on paper before I got it right and actually wrote it in the card. Felt like an idiot bc I didn’t know what to say…lol. I probably won’t send him any letters but will send a postcard here and there and I’m really liking…..”yo, wassup buttercup?”…….as an opener 😀 Lmao…..you kill me Deb….I love it 🙂

One of the letters I sent was on a Card that had a picture of the Venue where he did a Concert here. I had taken nieces,nephews and their mothers and Grandmother too!! I enclosed a picture and talked about how much we enjoyed the Concert!! Postcards from Iowa and Illinois. I’ve felt most comfortable with Dear David…….
I think many are sending picture postcards from their area. I picture him being able to decorate a Wall of these cards from all over the World.
…On second thought, he won’t want to call attention to himself in this way.
I figure short notes are best with his limited time to read them.

I admit it. I wrote before he left—something nonchalant about “goodbye and good luck.” But I secretly hoped he would notice the tear-stained stationery. (OK, I’m joking. About the goodbye part.)

No letters or postcards from me yet. Right now I am sending positive energy and good wishes via periodic ‘tete et tetes’ with the Universe.
Gotta share a boatload of blessings from a recent David concert. I selected two children to sponsor from the Child Fund in Dec. Closed my eyes and picked two or maybe they picked me. Gave up some “extras” that I haven’t missed. One child is from Kenya and one from India. Their correspondence and hand drawn pictures and family photos fill me up with love and a new appreciation of life and what is truly important. Less is actually MORE in a multitude of ways.

Love what Kizzi posted and I think it’s wonderful that so many sponsored kids through Childfund. I know how rewarding it is, I have been sponsoring kids from Africa and India for many years now.
Kizzi is right, “Less is actually MORE in a multitude of ways.” The small sacrifice you make is returned one hundredfold. Lots of David’s fans reach out and help others in so many different ways. Pretty awesome. Just like this site and everything TOfan does. ❤
