I have this on my iPod and for a while it was on repeat, but I haven’t watched the actual video for ages.
But something told me to go look for it today and, man, just what I needed.
I almost can’t believe how good this is. Both the song and David’s performance of it. It’s one of my most favourite things he’s ever done, tbh.
So simple. So incredibly soulful.
Everyone’s paying rapt attention, not fidgeting or moving. David’s totally in the zone, like he’s channelling the song… his song. Even the baby claps at the end! 🙂
I know it’s not a Christmas tune but boy, I really think it would be an incredible gospel hit if he ever released it.
I just feel it seep right through my skin and into my soul, you know?

This is also one of my favorite performances of David!!!!!!! This be perfect for David to sing at his 2 concerts on April 15, 2019, with the Zion’s Youth Symphony & Chorus in Las Vegas….the Monday before Easter OH MY!

Wow I had forgotten about this too, so good. sooo…soulful and really beautiful! If David ever makes a Spiritual/Gospel album, this song could very well be on it and should be. I could see him singing this with a full gospel choir behind him….although he’s a powerhouse on his own!
Haven’t listened to this in a while, until this post that is. It is just so good. He was in the zone, and so was the audience. I definitely agree that it could be a hit. Has he ever sung it anywhere else?
