But the David fan in me wants him to have it all to himself, throw it on the radio and become an instant star because that’s exactly what he sounds like 😍😍😍😍. The man needs to get some love songs on the radio…maybe he’s just testing the waters for that now 😘😘
yes, yes and YES!!! I always thought that it was maybe a good thing that he held off recording love songs, especially his own, because we needed time to fortify ourselves for that blessed day, otherwise we may not survive it! lolol But it’s likely coming soon! 🙂 🙂 🙂

Oh my gosh, how beautiful is this? Just gorgeous, the voices, the harmonies. Yes, David’s voice, wow. Love this, what a “”Perfect” Valentine gift. They both sound incredible. I was envisioning David singing this song on his own…..can you imagine? Love that they do these beautiful songs together, hope they do more.

Yes, so true Ray, his eyes say so much! There is definitely a spark’ in him. This song really is on fire! It really would be another beautiful experience to hear David sing the entire song on his own. With that said I do love the collaborations too. It’s just that his voice could go on and on. melting everything in sight.
Did read Tina’s wonderful reaction to Perfect, loved it and this part: “now let’s talk about that “bayyyyyyyyyybeeee” at 58 seconds in. i am slayed. the way he sings just that one word is absolutely everything. every. single. thing. i need a ringtone of that. and then i need everyone i know to call me repeatedly.”
Yes! That one word and the way he masters that in the song is truly magical. Don’t know how he does it but what he does with that word and his voice is true beauty in itself. Grabbed me from first listen (as did the entire song of course). Have shared it and folks are loving it. :My sister, who has a long recovery ahead from surgery found it beautiful and soothing but she can never remember D’s last name for some reason so always refers to him as Mr Enchilada (she means well, haha).
Thanks to Master Enchilada for his spark which turns in to that brilliant light when he bursts in to song. 🙂 Seems we can talk about that spark, that voice, that song….well, endlessly (as it seems I just did. 🙂
Reminds me of when he sang Love Me Tender on Idol…Randy said he loved how he was so tender and caressed each word… he was 17…had never been kissed, yet somehow was able to pour those emotions of romantic love into the song. He’s a channel. Music comes down from heaven and flows out of him like a fountain of liquid gold or chocolate or chocolate covered gold, I don’t know…I’m reduced to babbling. This song plays in my head while I’m sleeping…I kid you not. I may need meds.
I’ve always felt Love Me Tender didn’t get the love it deserved. Just go back and watch it. I sat there crying like a bayyybeeee when he sang it. That one went straight into my soul. That’s happened MANY times since then but at that time….whoa. Who knew then what was in store for all of us.
