And the story in the comments that went with it about how this pic came about:
I was actually the one that went up to him, chad saw him and wasn’t 100% sure it was him and then he told me to go look and I could tell that he noticed i was looking at him and he started to smile as he was trying to go unnoticed 😂 so we just broke the ice and went for the hey we’re big fans can we get a picture with you!! He was pretty shy and probably sick of getting this all the time but he was very nice to let us be dorks and get a pic with him!

And I can’t help but wonder why he was in this very interesting store, called Smith & Edwards (looks like my hubs’ dream store, where you can wander the aisles looking at everything from wrenches and canoes to 1739592839 types of string). Was he picking up Chapstick? Cap freshener? Organic free-range beef jerky??
The store’s Google blurb says: “Get ready for that big adventure! You’ll find all the gear and supplies you need for your horse, your outdoor adventure, or that project in the kitchen…” or your amazing, dancey, electric, out of this world concert appearance … that’s what they need to add if David be shopping there.

Omg, Smith and Edwards is my hubby’s favorite store ever! He was just talking about it yesterday. Well this should solidify his man-fanship for sure! It’s a massive place and I’d be so curious too what he was shopping for, or just window shopping. I get lost. Their sign says We have everything you want if we can find it.☺

Love the ‘random’ post, I guess David could have been shopping for just about anything there, not familiar with that store but they seem to have a big selection (except as you said TOfan….things for ” your amazing, dancey, electric, out of this world concert appearance)”, haha. Nice photos galore!
I’ve often wondered if I ever ran in to David in a store somewhere, etc. if I would leave him alone (of course there is not much chance of that living in Canada, lol). If I was certain it was him I might get up the nerve to say “Hi David” but that’s about as far as I would go I think. David is such a good sport to oblige fans everywhere. 🙂

Pepper, my daughter saw him (this was pre-mission time) in the post office in the tiny little Utah town that she lives in. She recognized him, said ‘hi’ and smiled. He said ‘hi’ and smiled. She then let him continue talking to some guy. Then she proceeded to call me and tell me what had just happened! My question then was … ‘what in the world was he doing in the post office of this tiny little Utah town’? David is a random kind of fellow who warrants random posts like this. 🙂 🙂
