I don’t know why.
Maybe because it seems like such a grown up thing to be doing… or a normal, every day thing to be doing.
Or because I think he should beam instantly places like they do on Star Trek. idek

Was thinking last night how awesome it is that technology allows us all to share in the wonderful performances of David’s from all corners of the Earth (a def. step up from the crappy cell cast days)… but even more than technology, the generosity of the peeps who take the time and effort to record and share these gems with us. I really can’t say thanks enough for that.

Yes, I am so thankful for all the fans that provide videos, periscope, Instagram pictures, fan recaps, etc. of David since I live in a state where David has never had a concert. You feed my ODD!
For sure!!! So grateful for technology!! And SOOOOO thankful for the fans that know how to provide it (yeah, I’m lost with it!). What a wonderful world we live in!!!
Aww…luv that first vid (All I’ve watched so far)…the talking, the smiling, the dancing, the high-fiving, the feelin’ “ITNOL”ng :). The message. Great one…reminds us all…every, little, small thing that spreads our own light, or talents or anything we can give that helps anyone in even the smallest gestures…can really make a difference…bit by small bit. Can make someone’s day, or moment, or make someone feel acknowledged or helped or ease someone’s way even if just a bit. I just loved listening to all that and taking it to heart. It’s empowering to remember that we all can contribute and that the smallest of kind gestures matter. Tks, DA.

Thanks for posting, Deb! I just love that talk before ‘Pride’. He is so humble, and just wants to serve others. plus, the ‘EcuaDOrrrr’ story is so sweet. And in ‘Angel’, I felt like he really is wishing for the people in the audience to find some comfort.
I hope someone gets a chance to record something at Sacramento.

Had a moment of post-traumatic stress during Beautiful … flashed back to the time David pointed right at me during a show as he sang the line “Don’t you bring me down today!” … like, huh?? what? why? bring you down?? never! oh geez
Yah, he is beautiful, no matter what we say. Although that is pretty much what we say…
Well, I guess the pointing is good no matter what he is singing TOfan, haha. Love Beautiful, one of my faves from the album (along with everything else). Extremely grateful to fans for the wonderful videos they bring us from these events…….they are the best! I never tire of David singing these songs no matter how many times I listen to them. I guess I’ve grown somewhat with technology, I remember the days when I just discovered Youtube (after D’s Imagine performance)!
Love the ‘random thoughts in this post, haha. As for David driving, I guess he’s a grown man behind the wheel now. Maybe we are used to Kari driving him around quite a bit. Nice that he runs in to some nice people while on the road (like Betty). 🙂

“I wish I could do that in real life–just sing in the airport all I want out loud and know one knows or cares” … he keeeels me… as if a crowd would not gather, and small woodland creatures clamber onto his shoulders and paper-airplane marriage proposals fly his way, whether they recognized him or not. Oh, David.
I loved both these videos! I think Nathan does the talking because it comes easier to him. If they prepared a song about the tour in some exotic language (like Finnish) David could probably learn it more comfortably than talking for a minute, casually, about his concerts.
And then he wants to sing at airports, BWAHAHAHA! No, that would not work. Perhaps someday some enterprising engineer will invent the cone of silence that would allow this to happen without others becoming entranced, but with today’s technology he’d wind up in more YouTube videos than from an average concert. And be over the carryon limit from collecting all those paper airplanes.

sorry whose tour.. is this a co-tour? Nathan came on twitter saying there may be another date added? does this mean they perform half and half?
the official tour photo says “DAVID ARCHULETA CHRISTMAS TOUR” in big letters then “with special guest star Nathan…” in smaller letters… so maybe Nathan’s the opener? and then joins in on David’s set for The Prayer? And fills in JTM’s part in Workin’? 😉

Oh my gosh! Could you imagine David and Nathan rapping and singing “Workin'”. Oh, that gave me a laugh. But, yes, David is the headliner of the Christmas show. Nathan is the “opener” as the special guest. Just like David was back in the day when he was the special guest for Demi Lovato.
Oh, I want to see that rap so badly now. You tease.
