    Eeeeeeeeeep
    Such intense wonderful excitement !!!
I’m holding off listening to him (as much as I can, lol) so that when I hear the new music I will DIE!!!!

  2. ray says:

he,s just to much .why we are still here forever

  3. He’s pointing at the cat because apparently we wouldn’t notice it otherwise…the same way we wouldn’t have noticed he was standing in water during filming of his video unless he stated that fact. He cracks me up. That dry wit. He’s just purrfect. πŸ™‚

I read this lovely comment on David’s Facebook post regarding the Louisiana flood clean-up and have been sharing it on his fan sites. “For the record, David Archuleta, I wasn’t 100% sure it was you when I asked to join your team. My son and I were just anxious to get out and start working and decided to ask the next person with a work order to join on with them. It was only after I asked you that someone confirmed it was you. At any rate, It was great working with you and your crew. Thank you so much for sharing your talent with us. That hymn you sang was amazing. You have a unique ability to connect your heart with the hearts of those who are privileged to hear your voice. My voice teacher called it “taking the detour”–allowing the music to not just flow out of your mouth, but allow it first to pass through your heart. There are many great-sounding singers out there, but you, my friend are a cut above. You brought hope to a lot of people through your music. Keep on doing what you’re doing…”
David is the real deal and sings from his heart! I am happy to be his forever fan.

“‘taking the detour’ — allowing the music to not just flow out of your mouth, but allow it first to pass through your heart” … omigosh, GrammyJ, that choked me up, how perfect, thanks so much for sharing …

I’m sure none of us was surprised to see David spending Labour Day weekend labouring for those in need… “you, my friend, are a cut above”… #word

This was one of the areas where we were helping clean this weekend in Louisiana. Couldn't believe how much everyone had to get rid of and cleanup from flood-damage. It was sad to see how so many people lost everything in Louisiana, but it was a privilege to get to go down with my church group and help out as part of Mormon Helping Hands. Thanks everyone for looking out for us and we'll keep sending our love to those who are still in the process of starting new! This has made me think twice about what really matters and what I could live without, as everyone here had to learn what they didn't need and what they did need to start moving forward. Appreciate what you have. I know I need to reconsider a lot of things as I've gotten caught up lately in "worldly things" that could easily be gone tomorrow and then I realize I really didn't need. It reminds me of some verses in the New Testament: "But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal: For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also." (Matthew 6:20-21) Happy Labor Day weekend y'all, and don't forget to appreciate the family and friends that you're around. I think amongst all the sales and trips that happen this Labor Day weekend they are who we ought to treasure the most. If you aren't going hungry, have a shirt on your back, have shelter, and loved ones around you show some gratitude today. Am I the only one picturing him getting carried away in a cap store? πŸ™‚

Or a shoe store, a watch store, a black socks store and of course a graphic t-shirt store.

    • Grammyj says:

Lol. Other than that I don’t see him spending much money except on food, but a guy has got to eat!

  9. Grammyj says:

Oh, I can’t wait for your post or comment on David’s latest Instagrams from Wisconsin, Deb. The video of David getting Chinese food for Kari instead of cheese curds has all kinds of potential. It reminds me of his Vlogs pre-mission – very endearing.
