Nice, rhiminee. Yep. …and when you run out of all the words you can possibly use to describe something one part weird, (even to yourself…like why IS this?!), 1000 parts wonderful….you still feel like you’re somewhat lacking, putting your finger on it. Or at least that’s how I feel when trying to answer that question.
Though, that 4th paragraph explains a lot…esp. “I’ve never felt that much from a song, from a voice before. It’s magic.” It’s still mystifies me how unique to David’s music & singing, those feelings are.
And as for the friends that would be your friends now even if David (heaven forbid) went away. I marvel how now I can call one, get off the phone and say to my bf, who doesn’t believe me…”omg, we didn’t even mention David?!” (it is rare, but it does happen while catching up with “real life.”) The fact that many, many “real authentic” friendships have been developed all because of a singer that touched everyone, is a testiment to David and what he brings through his music. Not putting him up on the proverbial pedestal, I know he’s only human…just saying you reap what you sow…and he’s sown some nice seeds in the world. Those bonds people have developed over him and the love of his music is a part of that.
