Janey 🙂 I miss everything, really. Ya, sure, David, lol, but as Utahmom and Joner said, I miss the excitement and anticipation in the air. The fun we all used to have. The people who’ve gone. The little surprises that used to pop up around every corner. Good, good times.
Saw this and instantaneously felt nostalgic. I miss the excitement of anticipation and possibilities that really seemed like probabilities back then. Now…?
Miss them too but I’m so looking forward to the new days and if I’m at the front of the line you and refnaf can cut again 🙂 Raise my glass to the future!!!

I miss having something to look forward to. There was never a dull moment when David was around. Even when he wasn’t touring, he always had irons in the fire or was hinting about his next endeavor (OK…maybe he wasn’t actually “hinting”… maybe our sleuthing skilz uncovered stuff BEFORE he actually wanted us to know 🙂 I’m surprised the CIA hasn’t pursued some of us for employment! We baaddd??) anyway, I digress. Things were always exciting when he was here and I really miss that feeling.

OK, I admit it. I laughed out loud when I saw that name, but something tells me that Queen Pebbles of the Night would be royally adored. 🙂

I’m “Empress Magnolia of Fog House” which sounds pretty close to being true right now since I’m in a fog from meds for vein surgery this morning, but would love to have some sweet smelling magnolia’s!
Well besides the obvious, concerts, concerts, concerts, road-trips to see…a concert! …and all that goes with that….the anticipation leading up to it, the anticipation when the lights go down and the music and the magic begin. All that.
Besides that….I miss “Hey guys, it’s David, here”….and the predictable laugh out loud I’d get somewhere in whatever vlog it was…he’d always have a point that’d just make me really laugh. Miss seeing his random funny tweets.
Honestly, I think it’s also been good to take a step back just a bit, focus on other things, as David is doing, while still and always, of course, keeping up on all things DA. And I’m real happy David had the chance to step away (from the “famous life”) and follow his head & heart somewhere else for a while. But lately…as I’ve started to say out loud…my withdrawal has kicked in full force. And I think from the “buzz” (like this post) I’m starting to see out there, it has for others too. Haha…I guess 1 year and 4 mos. has been our limit! I love that we’ve had new music from him while he’s away and I look forward to see what’s up for David when he returns. Sure hope it includes…um…. concerts! 🙂 …guess I went full-circle.
I really miss the old days, too, especially before David “filtered” his tweets. There are so many dear people who have drifted away. And I miss the feeling in my fingers and feet–I just gotta get better so when the David returns I can be tweeting away and going to concerts!
I want a new photoshoot. An earworm. LOL-worthy tweets. And that “It’s David here” vlog. Some might take a while I know but…won’t it be lovely!

I wouldn’t worry about that. I have a feeling that many people will pop out of the woodwork when he is officially home. I look forward to his first tweet. I think twitter will implode!

Yep, I miss the old days in David fandom too. I knew it couldn’t last forever, and David did need a break. I just wish it would have been a shorter one. But it will be interesting to see what happens when he returns!

I miss the old days…. especially concert road trips…. it is much harder to stay connnected to everyone now when there is no “live” get togethers….. but all will be well in the future > different perhaps, but still awesome
