In this time of David drought, we may find ourselves venturing to places online we swore we’d stay away from.
Places that rankle us. Make us cringe. Places that bring out our dark side.
We hate ourselves afterward, of course, and swear never to return.
And we don’t. For a while.
But starved of David news, what are we left with? Real life? Hah! That only satisfies for so long.
And then one rainy, dreary day, your willpower weakens and you backslide to that dark place.
So desperate for that fix, that connection, you go back there.
No judgment here my friends. We’ve all done it.

I took your dare, but I had to go to church first, LOL. I relaxed a little as soon as I realized that clip did not have the judges comments, specifically Simon’s, “That was a mess.” Poor Simon. He probably had no idea he would subconsciously adopt the “mess” model with X-Factor. (snark). I think I need to go back to church.

Surprisingly I prefer the unfixed just because the idea of David lip syncing is more icky to me than the knowledge that occasionally he has made a mistake in front of millions of people (no pressure).

tofan, I kinda froze when the link opened, and then I saw it was edited, so I waded in. I agree, there really are some exceptional moments in his interpretation…I ended up adding it to my favorites. Would love to hear him do it again, though I think that chance is highly doubtful.
(and I would be remiss not to mention my appreciation of your insanity and my love of your last post! H.i.l.a.r.i.o.u.s! ….and as much dislike as I have for that particular show, I think he would be an awesome judge, and yes, if he was, I would watch it.)
