There have been rumours floating around on Twitter for a while that David has a possible movie deal lined up in the Philippines for when he gets back.
No idea if that’s true or not but it got me thinking about Nandito Ako. About how at first I laughed my head off at just the thought of David acting at all (hello, Hannah Montana).
But then, when Josh cried at his mother’s grave *sniff* I cried too! Looking back, David had some pretty impressive moments during that nacho cheesy show.
Out of all those classic scenes… the bunny suit… the bus trip … the slap … the doorway tango … the yelling at Uncle Stevil… the serenading Anya … the watch rejoined … I’d have to say this scene is maybe my favourite…
Why? I remember when I first watched it and he started pounding on the door like he was going to break it. And when he screamed for Anya so hard his voice broke, it hit me right in the gut. Literally. I felt his pain. And I wasn’t expecting that at all.

I have 2 favorites…the first is where Josh tries to ride the tricycle and sticks out his tongue at Anya…the second is in Batangas where Anya stumbles and twists her ankle in the beach then Josh carries her to the boat. Why those 2 scenes?Because the first scene shows the sassy side of Josh while the second one shows his romantic/chivalrous nature. Another scene worth mentioning is the scene with Billy wherein Josh was having his future foretold by the “psychic” waiter.

do love that scene but think for me it is the slap scene. we get to see David being a bad boy and of course that slap. he so deserved it too!

I’m with you Kim! I’ve re-watched the bus scene so many times its crazy! Lots of great moments and impressive acting by D, but the “hawtness” factor of the bus scene rules!!
Gosh…I’d watch that Bus Scene just for “TheLook” moment at 3:10 lol ~how in the world did she keep from fainting is what I really want to know!
Oh so many favorites…definitely all of the above. One of my faves too, is the slap scene, only because he was so good in that scene as sassy Josh! Great acting and I also love the watch re-joined scene. So touching and D was great in that too. He really did a great job in N.A., still so impressed with his first real acting gig. His emotional scenes were so convincing.
The boy has a bright future. 🙂
The bus scene is so sweet and flirty it’s hard to beat but one of my other favorites is when Anya hears Josh serenading her through the door, my heart did flip flops! 🙂

Awash in NA video clips all weekend. If I miss David a little more than usual after my self-imposed NA film fest, I’m blaming you, TOfan.
LOVE the video above! I don’t know how I missed some of this great stuff the first time around. It prompted me to find another video from the book signing era that I watched more than once. Is there anyone more accommodating that David Archuleta? LOL
