Really enjoying this venture for David and for us. Loved that performance of Crush!! Listened in on the UStream of the Mall appearance.(THE SCREAMS WERE DEAFENING) Oh! My! David is handling the attention and interviews very well !! Baptism of Fire in some cases ie; on Will Big Time.
I definitely think David is enjoying this acting experience and digging deep to make sure he gets the character and acts it well. (Knowing how much his Heritage means to David, I’m sure he wants to honor his Grandmother who was an actress long before he was born) So much depth to David. Beautiful to look at and beauty deep within.

Blew that Crush out of the water I think, especially that ending! Watched some of this livestream and couldn’t hear everything David was saying (due to the loud racket going on…lol…adoring loud racket)! Thankful to the awesome fans for the great videos.
Just love David absorbing everything about his acting role, taking baby steps as he says and wanting to learn all he can. I can imagine him being quite a ‘natural’ as those around him have stated. Excellent at conveying emotion through song and I’m sure the same in his acting role. I am really looking forward to seeing this series at some point!

You see I was suffering from a MOST traumatic experience the night before. I was not in the right state of mind. My brain was grazed by the same Archugaze. So that should be given consideration right?

The only GP/Let It Be I heard live during tour was at the Stroudsburg VIP and I’ve been checking youTube to watch for a video but nothing’s appeared … so I sent out a plea on Twitter and the amazing Muldur came through with a gorgeous (faraway) vid she thankfully took on her iPhone … for some reason I just love him doing it on keyboard, warts & all … there’s a haunting poignancy there, I find. (And M. even caught his intro, which I also loved!)
Just read this great blog post by Pamela Pike, who spoke with Michael Orland, Arranger and Associate Musical Director from American Idol, and Dorian Holley his former coaching partner from Idol who is now the lead singer for the Tonight Show Band to ask them if they thought David could make a successful comeback in 2014:
“David Archuleta has one of the most beautiful voices of any contestants on the show.” They remember watching Hollywood week on TV, a couple weeks before they were to go in to get to work on the Top 24 David was onstage singing. One of the background singers was just behind him, weeping uncontrollably at the beauty of his voice. Dorian said, “I kept rewinding to watch my friend Lynn Fiddmont cry, and to enjoy the pure sound he made. The best part about David, though, is he has a smile and a spirit to match his great voice. Coaching him was a pleasure.”
As to David’s decision to break away from music for a bit, both Michael and Dorian felt that it is a big one. They said, “There will always be the question as to whether or not he will be greeted with open arms; will his music be embraced again? “We say yes. People who love him will still love him when he returns; provided he is making music they want to hear. In some ways a break will help him. Absence makes the heart grow fonder. Most importantly, David must do what his heart tells him, and what is more important than traveling and helping others? We believe music fans will be eager to hear a David Archuleta CD in two or three years, when he is ready, and when he has something deeper and more interesting to say, more power to him.”
